My dear Füsun,

Thank you so much for visiting these bridges again! Yes, many times we had walked along the canal bank, and stayed in the hotel very close by. I knew you would remember it.
This morning was not cold, so no need to return to a warm hotel.. Unfortunately the nice weather did not last much longer...

Have a wonderful week ahead!

Love Peter

Hi Val,

Thank you so much for your very kind words here!! I do like to try and make a bit of a landscape for the trains to run in. The canals hare are part of a vast network of waterways that were used to transport goods before the railways got built.
They were designed for boats just like this .. www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/49278544

Have a nice week!!

Best wishes

I am so pleased that you enjoyed it. I guess such a quiet Sunday morning, nobody about to disturb the water. I had spoken to the lady on the boat. They were ready to go, but decided to hang on to see the train too!

Have a wonderful week!

I'm so pleased you like this scene. Early enough to beat the crowds of dog walkers, runner, and fishermen. These canals do offer quite a few picture possibilities!

Wishing you a pleasant evening!

Hi Steve ,
Thank you very much!
Glad you like it.
This is one of the more scenic locations on the railway, and easy to get to, so always worth a photo or two!

Hi Karen ,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I am so happy that you like the scene.
Before the train came I spoke to the people on the boat. They had moored there all night, and were wanting to move on, but kindly they agreed to wait a few more minutes until the train passed, so as to make the picture.
As for the origins of the name Kidderminster, I found this:- www.etymonline.com/word/kidderminster

How nice of them to wait for you.

The origin of the town's name is so funny. I never would have guessed that! :D
