Who won?. Sorry but I wasn't joking. I know we had a good home Olympics in 2012 but I'm short on detail. Dont forget that there is no live BBC coverage for anything in Spain (we dont pay the Licence fee you see), British newspapers are way too expensive, in 2012 I wasn't with a smart phone and my technical ability was even worse than it is now, which isn't saying much.

So the London 2012 olympics really did pass me by and it has taken me the past 6 years to catch up, piecemeal!!
I guess we won - hard not to with those three great champions!
How did Mo Farah get on, by the way?

I did a bit of digging, and found the results

As you will see, it was not so good for Great Britain in this event.
As to why, well we must remember that it is a team effort, but riders from other countries can also help or not help, according to the 'gamesmanship' on the day. On this particular day, team GB didn't have many allies!
