Thank you Nick,

I am really pleased that you have enjoyed this one. As you can imagine, I had planned the trip around scenes like this, but the blue sky was a real unexpected bonus!

My dear Füsun,

I am so happy that you like the result! I did have to wait for a couple of trains to pass before I got it right, but we got there in the end (despite sinking into the snow, and the splinters from the fence..)

Love Peter

Thank you Steve,

I am so pleased that you have found this one to your liking. I was lucky with the weather, it had been hot all week. I have another photo from some days earlier, and is is feet deep in snow.

Hi Peter,

This reminds me of some of the railway posters I have seen in the past. I have a few calendars of them from long ago. This is really beautiful and a perfect perspective.

Best wishes, Rosa.

Thank you Rosa,

I am sure this scene has been on many a calendar! It is one of the 'classic shots' on this railway, taken by everybody who passes (to varying degree of success). I am so happy that you have enjoyed it, and remember it.

Thank you so much Alan

This was one of the main things which I came to see, along with Brusio Viaduct (which I haven't posted yet). Obviously no steam, but i think the bright red livery stands out well enough. I am very happy you like it.

Hi Sarah,
Your visit is much appreciated. Thank you!
I'm pleased that you have enjoyed it!
This place www.ipernity.com/doc/2247998/43345260 really shows the loss of another glacier.. Enough said!

Best Wishes, and a Good Weekend,
Peter
