Thank you so much. These are old DUKW s that are taking folks out to see the icebergs. Obviously the lifejackets are coloured to stand out!!

They are not old DUKW;s Peter ~ I used to be a DUKW driver/skipper, might be a LARK which was a larger American amphibious vehicle ~ Still a great scene

It looks so calm here, Peter. Less windy than it is in Shropshire. The red, both real and reflected, is perfect in grey/blue surrounding.

Thank you so much. I am honoured by your praise! The ice takes the blue colour due to its glacial origins, and yes, as I remember it was a calm day!!

Thank you so much. I am really happy that you have enjoyed it. It was certainly cold there, but perhaps not as cold as you might imagine. I did see a few seals coming in from the sea, so it can't have been that bad!!

Ah, in one of those boats we went out onto the lagoon! It's awfully touristy but you get to see the ice up close.

I did try some of the 1000 year old ice. It tasted just like any other ice. I guess freezing it works!!
