Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Steve DThank you so much. It is quite an experience to go over to the icebergs, break off a piece, and drink the 2000 year old water!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Amelia clubThank you so much. I am honoured by your praise! The ice takes the blue colour due to its glacial origins, and yes, as I remember it was a calm day!!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Sarah O'Thank you so much. I am really happy that you have enjoyed it. It was certainly cold there, but perhaps not as cold as you might imagine. I did see a few seals coming in from the sea, so it can't have been that bad!!

Peter_Private_Box club has replied to Andy Rodker clubThank you so much for your visit here. I am not sure why, but glacier melt water does have a certain cold look to it. I am glad that you found it!

Thank you so much for visiting this picture. It is nice to see we have both been to exactly the same place.
I did try some of the 1000 year old ice. It tasted just like any other ice. I guess freezing it works!!
Best Wishes, and a good week to come
Peter
