London to Brighton veteran car run - #60 - Darracq 1900. For Füsun!

Well caught Peter

Thank you Nick,

I am pleased you like it! This turned out to be quite a good spot for photos. Sun shining, and plenty of warning that a vehicle is coming.
There will be more!

What a great shot indeed Peter .. it looks like the sunshine does not relate to the actual temperature :))

Best wishes ... Steve

Thank you Steve,

The first of a few pictures from the day. This was one of the first cars to pass, at around 10:30AM, but remember they start at sunrise (7-00 AM), so they have probably been out in the cold for a while! It was actually quite warm in the sun!

Wonderfully nostalgic! As a teenager, we would sometimes go to see these on their 'run'. Merstham / Reigate Hill was a good place and only a bus ride from where we then lived.

Thank you Andy,

I am pleased that it brought back nice memories for you. I had picked this spot on the grounds that it was an old village with narrow streets, and more usefully that I didn't need so early a start to get there!

My dear Peter,

I am really honoured that you dedicated it for me!
Such a special moment!! And such a wonderful capture!!

Thank you so much!!

My Dear Füsun,

Thank you so much! It is sometimes easier to convey the image of a scene with a picture!!
Now you will know exactly what the place looked like!
A nice memory for us!

Perfect shot because of the surroundings and heavy clothing =D

Thank you Sami,

I had researched the spot a little before hand, being mindful of the buildings and the sun!
There will be more from here soon.

Best Wishes
Peter
