We sell by the litre here.
Typically it takes me around £80 to fill the tank on my big Volvo, but that is diesel...

Thanks Peter, of course you know that this is the price " per gallon" . it takes about $35.00 (dollars) to fill our Ford Fusun.... (that 2.99 up here is the price if you DON'T have one of the Parker's Cards for buying gas ! :) ... one of our sons just bought a brand new big ole GMC truck that uses diesel... he Loves the use of Diesel, hes not used it before,,,

As Peter says, ours is per litre. To be honest, I never even look at the price. If I need fuel then I have to get it. I think £40 gives me about three quarters full, but I only have a VW Golf, so not that big. I would love an electric car, but they are soooo expensive at the moment!
