No excuses for another. I like them and so do many others! Greenbank Cove, North Cliffs. I managed to get to the mountains today. The first time in almost a year! Fortunately my feet stood up to it. The downside is that I cannot download my photos from my new mobile phone more than one at a time and until I get this fixed, it will take more time than I currently have to download the 150 I took today. Pressure of work means that I will upload my usual 3 photos a day but I may not be able to do any more than that on ipernity for the time being. I promise I will get to view your photos eventually. It may be days, it may be weeks, I cannot tell. I am far from retired. I need to keep slogging away and sometimes, especially at this time of year (exams) the pressure mounts! I think I took some beauties but I won't be showing them all that quickly!

... but I was able to turn quickly, stuff my cameraphone up my shirt and cling on to my carefully chosen lumps of rock. I needn't have bothered. It wasn't a 'biggie' - but I was glad to have kept the Nokia dry!

A wintry day on August 1st. But half-an-hour later and the sea was calm and the sky blue and the temperature rose rapidly.

As explained 3 months ago with its sister shot (here: www.ipernity.com/doc/2247598/46164932/in/album/1042038) , this was above head height but I knew the view I wanted. It involved lots of jumping up with the camera held high! Only two shots worked out of very many attempts! Granite, Sierra de La Cabrera.

Sierra de La Cabrera. I sometimes follow this stream to get to the higher areas. Much easier when it is bone dry after June or July.

On my favourite low-tide walk along the seashore which goes from Porthcadjack to Greenbank Cove, or vice-versa.

I'm sure this rock would have fallen from the crumbling cliffs above the beach.
