Andy Rodker club has replied to Steve Paxton clubYes, this used to be the site of the vast Wheal Gorland tin and copper mine. At it's peak between 1750 and 1840, this would have been Hell On Earth, but there is zero trace of any of that now, it's a pleasant rural backwater!

HFF Andy, pls give news
Andy Rodker club has replied to Xata clubAs each day goes by I am even less clear as to what will happen! For one thing I'm very keen to get walking in the Sierra again in time for the late May wildflower show. I think I'm now fit enough. You're welcome to join me as discussed a few years ago now (!) - but we'll just have to see. There have been a few unexpected complications that will delay my return still more!!

Hopeful FF & WE !
I am pleasantly surprised by all your great comments for this dull and gloomy photo! But I'm glad you saw what I saw in it and you have vindicated my decision to post it! Seems the musical link is to many people's taste but not to others'. Of course, that's fine with me - where would we be if we all shared the same taste!~~~
