Thank you, Sarah. Yes, I haven't been out much this past year and not at all to the mountains so I have a trawl now and again to see if I still have a few shots not previously shown, at least not on ipernity! Sometimes I get it wrong and shots get repeated two or three times!

Yes on both counts. The heatwave here is exceptional even by Spanish standards. It is expected to cool down by a couple of degrees by Tuesday (big deal! 42º to 40º is hardly a relief!)

This is a very unusual shot and the fact it really isn’t there anymore makes me think once again that nothing lasts forever

Not far, Nick only from about head height to the faint path below so now it is a little bit of a scramble to get past the rubble!

An amazing shot Andy.............the rock formation was absolutely fantastic..........and probably still is, even with the loss of the hanging bit of rock. The fine details are beautiful and I love the light and colour palette.

Wow - you were lucky to have managed to capture at all, it reminds me of a horse's neck. The rock formation is really amazing.

Well, I'm well now, so that's good! Had a really nice day with my sister today, and that feels like being well also!!

Impressive atmosphere, heightened by the strong and dark presence of this granite.
As you mentioned above, I remember these remarkable rocks that you regularly showed us on Panoramio!

I overdid it on Pano, Eric!!
I now perhaps show about 1 in 10 photos from there and of necessity they are all old and sometimes repetitions, whether knowingly by me or not!
The same with my Cornwall shots of which I have even fewer and ALL the ones I post now have to be repetitions but just occasionally I find one that I haven't shown on ipernity, even if it has been seen on Pano.
I hope to visit both in the next year but now without a Spanish or a British driving licence thanks to Brexit and illness (sight problems too), I won't be in a postion to travel to my favourte places anymore! :o(
Stil,l we'll see what happens as I gradually get better!
