Andy Rodker club has replied to David G Johnson clubAndy Rodker club has replied to Jenny McIntyre clubMaybe they did but this one was used more for lugging fishing boats from one cove to the other depending on tides and weather conditions, etc.

I'm sure you've posted it on IP before, but well worth another look anyway :-)
Andy Rodker club has replied to Keith Burton clubAll my Cornwall photos have been seen on either ip and/or Pano but that can't be helped as I don't have any new ones. I won't be getting any this year either by the look of things. :o(

It will be a longer gap than that this time, sadly and my parents are getting older ...
Xata club has replied to Andy Rodker clubOn the news we see that in Madrid you are in “hard” quarantine, here not yet but in big cities it is getting there too.
Stay safe Andy
Andy Rodker club has replied to Xata clubBoris Johnson is running a very high risk strategy in the UK. But in any country, many of us will be left to our fate as the health services won't be able to cope. They will be heroes but ...
I have recently re-read Camus' La Peste (in the original French ... it was an A level set book at school and I had kept my copy ..), but I re-read it just before we heard about Wuhan and Covid-19. Prescient or what?
Stay safe of course!
Xata club has replied to Andy Rodker clubBy prescience or coincidence I took La Peste to read in Norway last month... I dont know if people will learn the lesson this time and be less arrogant, but no hope when I see how fast spanish flu and WWI horrors, WWII extermination camps etc were thrown away as things of a remote past.
I confine myself as I can, I am lucky to have desert nature close, I help older ones even if I am not so young myself...
Stay safe too, both of you...
Andy Rodker club has replied to Xata clubReplying to this this very late due to computer issues as you know. But temporarily I have a computer window (I can see signs that it will 'die' again shortly).
We are some weeks further down the line and politicians haven't covered themselves in glory., ... But in truth, what can they do?
Stay very safe.
