I liked the cloud formations that day. The sharp, strong and sudden downpour hit the town of Grampound, in mid Cornwall, as I recall.

Great photo - lovely lighting and clouds. The 200-foot erosion platform is spectacularly flat and mirrors the cloud bases!

Pleased you like it, Earthwatcher! This raised coastal platform is consistent all along this north Cornish coast and extends right round past Land's End and as far as Penzance. It gets disrupted by the equally beautiful Rias after that but it all adds to the beauty that is Cornwall!

The same 200-foot platform can be seen in west Wales too, especially along the south coast of Pembrokeshire.
