Aynho Bridge and Wier
On this day in 2018 I was on the Blue Buzzard (narrowboat) cruising with Big Bro. This is the Oxford Canal just before it merges very briefly with the R. Cherwell and then they go their separate watery ways.

A superbly composed main image Maggie............with great leading lines from the canal. I love the sunshine, especially where it catches the surface of the water.

A lovely green surrounding landscape and a beautiful bridge..........all with lovely detail.

Two excellent PiPs as well..........the first gives us a lovely view along the towpath and the second some great detail in the bridge.

Cool! This reminds me of my boat trip on the Canal de Bourgogne many years ago. Zillions of locks and weirs...and I thought this would be a relaxing trip. But you got to see forgotten places you wouldn't have along a road...and I guess it's the same here?
