Pickup in military costume

This looks somewhat convincing until you enlarge it and see that the dirty patina is painted on. Also, I don't think painted black accents, such as the stripe, fuel covers and black paint around CHEVROLET in back, are by-the-book in the military. Finally, in faded stencil, upper left fender, is USMC and some numbers, but I believe the white star on green equipment is associated with the Army, not Marines.

Well, that's just obsession talking...
