Requa Resort
Requa is from the Yurok word rekwoi, which means something like "where the river meets the sea." I don't know what the big building on the left is, but it looked like a sort of tribal community center, perhaps where they have their annual Salmon Festival.

Thanks, Rosa, it was a pleasure to do a little research. I know very little about the coastal tribes (know a lot more about the Sioux), so it was time for me to study up!

Oh dear, I forgot that you might have to endure the current climate denier for quite a while yet:-( The bad year this year is a result of sins of the past and the orange one will add immeasurably to them.

You are absolutely right. One thing that is so awful for me, personally, is that I will have to spend my old age dealing with this crap and the aftermath, like a black cloud over my life. I can't tell you how many people have said the same thing! Bad government is damaging to the mental health of a whole nation. Even when he's kicked out of Washington, we have to deal with his howling mob of followers.
