Mopar for Stig
Dodge Ram at play.

Leif Fielstrup Guldbrandsen, Don Barrett (aka DBs travels), have particularly liked this photo

I like the way you've framed the vehicle! Nicely done!

Thank you. It's a result of whipping my camera up when I saw a truck. I didn't know what else was in the frame. Single-minded!

The Stig is our spiritual leader.

He is. He's just crazy about anything Chrysler/Dodge, so I'm feeling a spiritual renewal thanks to Mopar! (I'm still not clear about the "Mopar" connection, it seems quite convoluted.)

I don't think this will help, but Mopar is to Chrysler products as Delphi is to General Motors. They both make parts (e.g., starters) that are used across the various brands (e.g., Dodge, Chevrolet). Thus, the title "Mopar for Stig" makes no sense to me :)

He's a big fan of Mopar products - Chrysler/Dodge. I've been around here long enough to notice that the word Mopar is used to refer to anything Chrysler. (There's even a Mopar group.) I've seen that online, too. To me, it just seems obscure.

(Uh-oh, sitting here with open windows and I smell a forest fire...)

Hopefully the fire wasn't close.

Odd about "Mopar", I've never heard it used to refer to Chrysler products. BUT, admittedly, most of the people I've know haven't liked Chrysler products so they don't get talked about.

I don't know anything about them, except there are a lot of massive Dodge Ram 3500 trucks around here. Maximum manliness.

There are lots of fires in CA. I think the smoke has been drifting up here. Not a lot, just enough to give me a whiff once in awhile. Later, there will be a lot when far northern CA and half of Oregon burst into flames.

I'm just about due west of you, near Port Orford. There seem to be lots of Dodge trucks for working men.

Driving around this year I can't help but get anxious everytime I see all of the dry, golden, grass. I used to think of it just as beautiful, but now when I see it, I think fuel for forest fires.

That area is my early childhood stomping-grounds - Brookings, to be exact. Yes, southern OR, especially, is loaded with trucks both new and old, running and not.

I know what you mean about the grass. Drought changes one's perspective, doesn't it?
