In younger days, I had a 30-year-old Ford Fairlane that was about as faithful as you'd expect a 30-year-old Ford Fairlane to be. Somehow one time, I knocked a big hole in the gas tank driving too fast over a railroad track, so I spent several months driving around with a gas-soaked rag hanging from a hole just a short distance from the exhaust pipe. Somehow, I survive being young.
