This is so funny, because I assumed he was surveying at the work site!!! I enlarged it, but still am not sure whether it's a camera. If it is, the photo would be of the construction of an antenna. That's what he did for a living.

Haha - there are boxes of his photos of antennas, or holes being dug, concrete being poured, etc! They're not interesting! One of my brothers has them.
