A striking scene Herb.. so craggy - it's almost like spoil heaps from old pits and mine workings,. I'll bet it would be exhausting to set out to explore on foot.. , Cheers' from Dj,.

A well captured shot of these rugged rocks Herb, and the grey clouds seem to suit the scene perfectly.

I wouldn't call it beautiful, but viewed large, the detail is amazing!

Thanks for this Keith. The hills on the other side of the lake (this photo) were mostly quite normal but there was just this bit, maybe half a mile that looked like this -why? I don't know. Maybe the lighting just brought those hillocks out Anyway glad you liked at it large and enjoyed it.
