A photo of 16 years of age. I was reminded of this only yesterday as at the moment my PC random desktop wallpaper is made up from my 1550 Panoramio photos collection. The photos change every 30 minutes and I see two at once on my twin monitors here. Perhaps my imagination and skills were better then but I still derive pleasure, even now, from seeing them again. So glad you do too.

A fantastic abstract landscape shot Herb. I love the light and shade, and the shapes and textures are beautiful. Perfect in black and white.....and yes, it does have a painterly look to it.

Ah yes, your kind of photograph too Keith. I thought the mono suited perfectly and in fact I still have the original colour to compare. I have a painting that I made that looks similar. (it's still in my big painting folder that never sees the light of day ! )

I drove through Horton in Ribblesdale a few days ago as my nieces own a cottage near the Ribblehead viaduct. Wonderful country and well depicted in this atmospheric photo.

Wonderful that you know this area well. I used to frequent this area often when we had our caravans (A static near Gisburn) and our tourer. I never tired of the scenery here. Glad you liked my version of it all.
