Our fungi family

Our fungi family
Saw these mushrooms or perhaps toadstools hiding under one of our potted Azealia trees. I thought I would capture them before they faded. It was all harder to capture than I expected.

Enjoy the day.

I think you've captured these very nicely Herb.............the sharpness and detail is spot on and they stand out nicely against the darker background.

Good to see some more macro work from you!

Glad to get your approval here Keith as I know that you are an expert on such matters. Unlike that way I usually use this lens on close up, which is fully open, this was taken at F16 in order to get more D.o.F so an awkward positioning of the tripod to get this.

Have a good Sunday. Herb

Sometimes a mono pod or a bean bag is best for outdoor macro. I rarely use a tripod outside any more unless I'm in the garden and even then I mostly handhold. Too much weight to carry about!

Thanks Gordon. No ambition to become a Macro-Meister. This was just an opportune shot after I saw them.
