Beautiful. Ah, those squirrels, I wish they weren´t so cute... and left your flowers to bloom!

Cute but ruthless. They have eaten other flower-heads too. They are not supposed to. We have two regular squirrels now that are inseparable -maybe pair or simply siblings.

Such a beautiful looking flower Herb...............and a magnificent close up shot. The detail is excellent and I like the out-of-focus green leaves in the background.

I used to use the Nikon 105mm macro lens.........I sometimes wish I'd kept it for use with an adaptor on my Olympus kit.

Glad you liked it Keith. This is a nice lens for sure but so heavy! Your own macro kit seems perfect to me and I bet, far lighter and I bet more flexible too.
I have taken lots of shots of the same blooms in our garden but they never looked quite like this.
