The River Wye and one of its Weir’s.
This very nice weir is just down-river a few hundred yards from the Monsal Viaduct itself. Not the best of photographic lighting days but it gives an idea of how it was.

I like this picture very much!
It is a very different and exciting composition
I reckon the dull lighting works well, allowing the use of a longer exposure time to get the effect.
