Interesting info Herb. I didn't know that about Fog Houses. They are beautiful wooden buildings and a great place to enjoy the wonderful view!

It was a most wonderful sight and we loved the knobbly big door post. The view, as was the whole walk was quite marvellous.

Beautiful and natural looking Herb. It is perfect for this location. I love the wood, especially the posts framing the entrance. A great PiP. A totally different style from the summer house at Invermoriston which is stone built. I rather like this charming wooden style

Yes it was most interesting and with a very different feel to most shelters (summer houses) that we have found. Like you we too loved the front post. Glad you liked it.

Such an unusual and beautiful looking structure...........you can add me to the list of those who have never heard of a Fog House. I like the view from this one. The wood used in it's contstruction looks original and I particularly like the posts either side of the entrance. It's much bigger on the inside that it looks from the PiP (a bit Tardis-like)!

The PiP is just gorgeous..........and my favourite of the two shots. I love the mossy roof and the patterns made by the woodwork. The location is wonderful..!!

Glad you liked this and its companion Keith. Yes it did seem surprisingly big inside. The wooden post where of the same style that fronted the royal old gardeners cottage at Balmoral Castle. The one Queen Victoria loved so much..
