Ben Lomond from the north
As I looked down the stretch of Loch Lomond from my seat, just behind me, and here is another equally stunning view. This is the north face of Scotland's second most famous mountain: Ben Lomond at 974 metres (3195ft) and is one of the most familiar of the Munros (mountains over 3000 ft high) in Scotland. It is the most southerly and is also one of the most popular hill-walks in Scotland. PiPs
