Herb lens is great the Fstop not so ideal but you could help the lens by higher iso but you have now got the bug and the eye to find the milky way . Well done i am please that you put up the shot and added them to the group. {:o)) Steve

Aye Steve, I now know its all a matter of balance and know-how. I was reluctant to push the iso higher for fear of too much noise. That would have helped me to go a few stops higher for the better part of the lens and definition though. Glad you have not rejected it from your group anyhow.

Thanks for another comment Andy. Yes, Steve is a Master of this sort of stuff and living in a place covered with totally black clear skies certainly helps too. I can only dream of one day getting to his standard where stitching a dozen or so full size pictures to make things like Milky-Way-Bows is the norm. But I am happy to get my foot on the ladder.
