Over the Alps and far away.
Aboard our Boeing 737 at about 37,000ft up, it seems that we are not far from these mountain peaks but this has been zoomed somewhat and gives a false impression of closeness. Thankfully it was pleasant weather on our way through Germany towards Greece. Note also that it is late May and still enough snow for the skiers up these mountains. Afraid I do not know the exact location nor the name of the lake.

Herb Great shot i know i have some from slide but not the detail you have captured here. have you followed the flight plan you should be able to pick up the lake from GE. just a thought. Steve
