Outer Limits- Saturn Worth a look large.

This Is a Huge crop of the already Crop mode which turns a 600mm into an 900mm equivalent. The only reason this works is the extra pixels on the D810 compared to the D600. This is not tracked just tripod shot

This the limits of my gear only way to get better is a bigger telescope. 1500mm

You must be very pleased with this one!
I have only seen Saturn once through a telescope, on a cold winter night, and I was excited. For you to create this superb image must be very exciting too!!

Peter If you had seen the size of the image you would have missed it it was that small and I thought I would get a white blob and not see the rings at all. It size gives you the degree of difficulty but given all that to actually see the rings and colour big smile on my face. yes it was some thing I did not think I would get any thing at all it was so small but was worth the cold to get the shots. in total took me 5 shots to get this one.

takes a very long lens to get a better photo and this is my limit. many thanks its not a photo for every one.
