Sunset Lake Rotoiti
Just to show I have always been to far ahead of myself trying to run before I could even walk. this was a panorama I made out on two SLIDES that I was going to print and try to put together. This was joined today by PTGui from the two digital images. I have kept them the same all I have done is remove the dust from the image so Its as close to original as you can get after some 40 odd years.

this was taken late 70's so this will have been 50mm and 64 ASA Kodak film Olympus OM1. enjoy the colour mist and clouds. Just goes to show we still see the same today as yesterday.

Gudrun, John Goodwin, Marco F. Delminho, ColRam and 13 other people have particularly liked this photo

A lovely sunset pano, Steve. Yes, the old slides still come good, but the dust is a nuisance we're spared with digital.

Thanks I agree the image came out very well for its way of taking. not seen many like this here in Oz. you still get some dust on sensors when you change lens a lot like I do but its easy to deal with.

I have to say we always get there in the end but is this not what we do today but just had no way of doing it on normal film or camera. I can finally see what I first had in mind all those years ago. many thanks.

Kodak film was good but not the same as digital by a mile. I still have it and wonder should I buy a film to run through it but I believe what is the point when the digital I have wins hands down.
