Die Porte du Peyrou bildet den Zugang zur Promenade du Peyrou. 16693 lag hinter der Pforte noch eine Zugbrücke, die über den Stadtgraben führte. Später wurden Reliefelemente eingefügt, um ein Denkmal für den Sonnenkönig daraus zu errichten.
