Chateau Yaldara, Barossa Valley

Chateau Yaldara, Barossa Valley
Tag 58 - 17.10.2013 - The winery was founded by the Hermann Thumm in 1947 after he emigrated to Australia from Europe in 1946. The site chosen for the winery was on the banks of the North Para River at an old flour mill dating back to 1867. The winery was named "Yaldara" after the local aboriginal word meaning "sparkling".

Thanks, Gillian. We visited Noosa in 2013. We had a 8,5 week holiday in Australia. It was a great time for us, visiting our friends in Maryborough.
Greetings from Frankfurt/Main and Merry christmas and a happy new year. Erika
