Hallo Heidi. So ein Balkönchen hätte ich auch gerne. Die Türen sind auch beste Meisterarbeit. Und in dieser Farbe lass ich demnächst mein Häuschen streichen.

War kürzlich noch in Suhl, von Arnstadt hatte ich jedoch bisher noch nichts gehört.

Danke nochmals, liebe Freunde
für das anhaltende Interesse an meiner "Kleinstadt-Reportage".
Ich hab' zwischenzeitlich viel nachgelesen über die Historie der Stadt.
Das hat Lust auf MEHR gemacht.
Ich werde deshalb nochmal hinfahren, und genauer hinschauen.
In den 4 Stunden, die ich beim letzten Zwischenstopp hatte, konnte ich nur an der Oberfläche "kratzen". Also: da kommt noch was. Später.

Zu meiner Schande muß ich gestehen: ich komme aus dieser Gegend (Suhl z.B. ist gerade mal "einen Berg weiter" als mein Heimatort) - war aber noch nie in Arnstadt. Konnte mir auch nicht vorstellen, dort etwas verpaßt zu haben. Bis mir Freunde jetzt den Tip gaben. Und ich brauchte wirklich nur einmal kurz die A4 runter, und die nächste Auffahrt wieder rauf. Suhl ist (sorry !) langweilig im Vergleich mit Arnstadt.

Morgen ist schon wieder ein HFFriday und ich entdecke die Arnstadtserie und dieses Bild erst jetzt!
Also wünsche ich mal einen verspäteten und zugleich verfrühten HHF ;-)

OK, next time I go to Arnstadt I want stay where you recommend. Then, to the Eiscafe La Gondola, stare at the Bach Memorial and go to the Bach Church. ; -b
