Glasgow paperweight
SC 203 - Words, anywhere you find them
I chose the Glasgow paperweight as the main photo because it had a date on it.
In the past, manufacturers couldn't rely on TV or sometimes even the press to advertise their wares. On furniture, brass escutcheons were often used.
PiP1 is self explanatory.
PiP 2 is an original artwork by a Ruyton XI Towns artist, Mary.
PiP3 is an old tape measure from a haberdashery.
