High and Dry in Dysart

High and Dry in Dysart
Behind the boat is an outdoor sculpture called 'Sea Beams' by Donald Urquhart, comprised of nine vertical oak beams illustrating the different colours of the sea.The Firth of Forth can be seen behind it here. The oak beams were each cut from a single tree.

A lovely pair of images.............both captured in gorgeous light. I especially like the lines of the boat in the main image.........she's really beautiful and looks splendid with the wooden piles behind her. Getting that tiny gull in shot was a masterstroke!

The piles themselves are a work of art in their own right!

I can't claim credit for the gull, Keith. I didn't even notice it until I came to deal with the photo yesterday. ;-)
