Perpetual calendar

Perpetual calendar
This perpetual calendar had to be put together from 32 pieces. That was fairly easy, but the biggest puzzle we've yet to solve is how to use it.

The PiP is part of this week's Times cryptic crossword (doctored), which we'll probably manage to finish about Wednesday. ;-)
