Seems to be localised (maybe !!).... several people from different areas have also reported no problems .

I have just added a German translation but I apologise I had to use a translator to do the German. I hope it makes sense

I have swapped to my own account now but still answering as IMA Team ! I will be around for another couple of hours. Its 11.19pm here and its been a longgggg day !

Its definitely "localised" My account seems fine and I am able to comment etc.

I know you and others are having problems still.

Btw John... as far as I can tell I am seeing ALL your content back now ? Lots of photos and many many Albums.

Its is as Eric says.. nothing is actually lost. We just have to be patient .. it is in hand.

Its frustrating for all of us !

Udo...I just checked it out now and at least from where I am it is running fine . As I just said above to Jean , when something like this happens with the Servers they have to catch up with themselves when the headache starts to wear off !

Its a gradual thing and I am hoping that things will calm down and run smoothly now.

No problem for me. It might be worthwhile to check your account settings and make sure your notifications are set to send mail everyday. otherwise I don't know what could cause this problem.

I've been having problems with the "indicate on the map" feature. It takes 2 or 3 attempts before it will load and there is no "street view" option. Anyone else having this problem?

This option "indicate on the map where this photo was taken" is not working for me also.
In particular this part . "where this photo was taken" is grey out so it appears that this part of this option in disabled

Adblock is disabled on this site. So that does not explain the why "where this photo was taken" is disabled.

To all, concerning the latest operational disruption: The AWS server architecture, which we have taken over from Ipernity S.A., is obviously not very reliable. After all, our IT service provider is meanwhile so familiar with it that he was able to manage the last malfunction quickly and independently. A general solution is being worked on.

I've also noticed that when I use the "Control & Scroll" to zoom in on a map the whole of the web-page (not just the map) zooms. This doesn't happen every time, just occasionally, but when I zoom by clicking on the "+" and "-" symbols it works correctly.

Does this include uploads? I notice I am having significant trouble uploading new pictures. It took me over a dozen tries yesterday to get one picture uploaded and of the 9 I uploaded just now, only 4 made it to the server.

The upload cache of one of the AWS servers was full. This was an error that was not supposed to occur. Because with good programming a regular automatic cache emptying should be implemented. The error was neither predictable nor avoidable.
In the meantime, Qwellcode emptied the cache manually and fixed the program bug.

Bis wir die Server völlig neu aufgesetzt haben, sind wir vor weiteren Überraschungen leider nicht gefeit. Es ist wenig dokumentiert, und früher wurde wohl viel "ad hoc" manuell gemacht. Aber Qwellcode ist an dem Thema dran.

I am finding my multi -picture uploads incomplete (of two images, only one went through). I had to try a second time to get the second photo to upload.

And my adjustments in Pic Monkey are not being kept. A few minutes will pass as the site appears to be doing its magic. But when I am returned to Ipernity, my adjusted image hasn't been saved or changed.

Not deal-breaking problems, but two things of which you need to be aware.

I've been having trouble uploading all day. Batch uploads are failing, so I'm trying one at a time. Even this isn't working. The processing bar gets stuck and the images won't fully process. Please fix!

Unfortunately, our community has not adopted a stable server architecture from the former operator, Ipernity S.A.. The unpredictable disturbances annoy us as ima team beyond all measure.
But a new server architecture can't be shaken out of the sleeve. Our service provider Qwellcode is working at high pressure on the migration to another server. Before we can start using it, however, a number of tests have to be carried out.

If there should be another malfunction until then, we ask for understanding and patience.
