There is new growth in the garden...........

When I got home I realised that the garden was looking better than of late - okay it's winter time, but it just looked brown and grey which doesn't exactly invite you out to admire it...... LOL

So imagine my surprise when I noticed some green............. the garden showed loads of daffodils and tulips struggling to get through the undergrowth.....

So hopefully there will be some colour here, and I see even the mombretia has started to sprout......

Then I started to look into the pots............

Some flowers are a little behind the others

So you can see there are loads of tulips coming up, dying to see them - hopefully not too long before they do bloom........

The lilac tree is also showing promise.............

Then the ivy has berries on it.... the birds will be happy.

By this time I was really cold and so a hot coffee was calling to me. Hope you all are staying warm and safe with all this awful weather visiting us.

Very nice to see that there is some green on the way Jenny.
Afraid i can't say the same, no signs of anything, not even shoots from snowdrops or crocus that are among the first to bloom here. No, all i can boast is snow, snow and more snow not to forget the birds of course.

But snow is good sometimes John, we just have rain, hail etc so just as boring

Wow, how lovely that there is life in your garden so soon! It's still way too cold here for anything to grow; it will be at least a month before I see crocuses.

Next door's crocus' are almost out - in fact I did espy a dash of pale blue in my lawn today, and I think that might be a little crocus poking its head out
