Just wanted to show you my lovely bouquet of flowers that my neighbour gave me for my birthday. Aren't they gorgeous? It's such a shame they don't have any scent. Still just looking at them and knowing I'm very lucky to have such lovely neighbours, makes me smile inside......

Yes it is a shame, but unless they're old roses, they never seem to have any scent.

Oh aren't they lovely. Such a shame they have no scent. A lot of modern strains seem to be going that way. I love freesias; they're pretty colours, and have a wonderful scent.

Oh I love freesias too, or lilies. I find that the white of many flowers often have the strongest of scent.
