Thought you'd like to know that I've been sewing like there's no tomorrow lately!!!!!!! As I've mentioned before - I'm making myself a patchwork quilt - but for some reason I stopped - can't remember why, but while I was waiting for something to arrive so I could continue, I started doing a patchwork quilt for my neighbour for Christmas!!!!!!!!!!
Anyway I started on the one for Yvonne, my neighbour, and I really like the pattern, which means that my quilt may be changed!!!!!!!!!! Oh yes - white material is what I was waiting for!!!!!
So I've now finished the front piece and then it's adding the layer of wadding and then the backing and that's when the fun starts - the hand sewing of the quilting!!!!!! That could take up to 150 hours for the quilt!!! Well it's only time and I have a lot of that. See what I mean about the pattern - it's really nice - well I think it is.
