Solidarity, tolerance and freedom of expression are the greatest defense against barbaric cowards that martyr innocents in their quest to transform the world into a ruthless hell in which everyone must embrace their theology of evil.

You have your right Ced to say, "I'm not Charlie." Attacks against your decision can also be viewed as intimidation against free expression. In my view, free expression on both sides -- "I'm Charlie" or "I'm not Charlie" should be respected and the latter in and of itself does not make one a supporter of terrorism or the heinous cowardly attacks that took place in Paris last week or a follower of Dieudonné.

Reality check for censors and those who shut down accounts of people who express an opinion they don't agree with:

People who say, "I am not Charlie" are NOT terrorist sympathizers and/or supporters. Neither are Muslims.

Everyone should be disturbed by this action since it can happen to any of us without warning merely for exercising our God-given, inalienable right of free speech.

Shutting down accounts to stifle free speech is unacceptable. One cannot declare, "Je suis Charlie" or even say they stand in solidarity with the martyred innocents, their families, France, and the civilized world if they shut down accounts because they don't like someone's opinion and their courage to express it. Shame on Ipernity!

If anything, this is a time free expression and free speech must be protected more than ever!

Yes William Freedom of Speech is a vital for a free and harmonious World to exist.
But when Freedom of Speech is used to insult or incite hatred, discrimination, or persecution against others for any reason freedom of speech is being abused.
The Free World is indeed in peril from those who refuse under any circumstance to allow freedom of speech and expression and to practice their own religions and creeds this must be defended for the sake Freedom.

Yuma, Tess actually supports freedom of speech. She is concerned about "hate" speech. As long as humor, dissent and/or difference of opinions aren't viewed as "hate" speech and the delineation is clear, there shouldn't be a problem. Issues arise when there is ambiguity. In these cases, I believe we should err on the side of permitting it without being influenced by subjective biases.
