How 'bout those bad games?

I thought it would be fun to create a thread to rant about bad games or at least frustrating areas in otherwise good games.

So, as I was sifting through my PS2 collection trying to decide what to play next, I saw Super Returns on the self and wanted to try out. I've heard it's a terrible game. When I picked it up a couple years ago, I thought despite the reviews it would be hard to go wrong for $4.44. Hard yes... impossible no. It's not bad because of boring repetitive game-play; it's bad because everything feels broken.

I made it through the first few chapters, and decided that I'm not even going to bother continuing. The controls don't feel intuitive for one. I had trouble making Superman do what I wanted him to do. For example, you can perform attack combos using Square and Triangle. Triangle is also the button you use to take off and to land. So, occasionally in the middle of me attempting to pull off a combo, I would stop fighting and decide to hover.
The lock on system is also a joke. Mostly because it won't stayed locked on. If it does stay locked on, and you're flying at high speed, you can fly right past the enemy instead of into to to ram it, then you lose the lock and on the camera goes friggin' crazy! And even when you can stay locked on it doesn't always work. I was punching away at a robot and ended up beating on some civilian by accident. Of course that will make you lose the game, because only so much damage can be done to the city and it's population. Sure you can bring the people to ambulances if they're hurt, but you don't have time to do so. I didn't get the impression like it was similar to other open city superhero games, where you have to go to the next location of a mission before it starts. It seems like the action is going whether you show up or not. So if you stay behind to help hurt people, the city is getting trashed.
And why make it so that's the case but at the same time you can pick up cars and throw them? You can cause SO much damage to the city yourself that you can be your own worst enemy.
So I'm not going back to this one.
