Ant "doorstep"

Beautiful, Isabel! Are you sure it's an ant hill exit? I see structures similar to these in the backyard of the place where I work (which used to be a community vegetable garden) but they are made by snails. They lay the eggs in an underground chamber and then the baby snails emerge from there, making it look like a tiny crater.

Interesting info Annalia. I saw ants there and many similar craters are situated on the ants paths, so for me it was made by them. But in spring I will try a closer look to see if there are snails... and will try to ask around.
