You have an amazing variety of flowers, here a big botanic garden would spend huge amounts to provide the conditions to grow that. Do you know these plants Isabel or do you look them up.
I used to know an old lady her knowledge of English wild flowers was amazing, her sight got very bad but is still used to go in the local wood looking for plants

Some I know, some I have to look them up. I am sure this old lady you know could tell you that nature is also very rich over there... plants are not always spectacular, but all are wonderful if you take the time to look at them thoroughly.
My area is sub-desertical and almost no agriculture there, just cattle: sheep, goats and very little cows (not enough water to have many of them). That is the reason for the place to be one of the richest in flora.
This one is so tiny that most of the people walk on her without noticing...

Si petite que la plupart des gens marchent dessus sans se rendre compte de sa beauté, cela est une de mes préférées

Beautifully taken little flowers. It's interesting to see them growing in bare ground.

It seems almost impossible that such lush green leaves and ethereal gossamer flowers could grow on this dry rocky soil ... nature is indeed full of magic! A beautiful portrait, Isabel!
