Ko Samui thirty years ago
The island Samui (Thai: เกาะสมุย) in the gulf of Thailand is a clear example how a paradise change into a nasty tourist stronghold. It changed from one of my favorites targets in to the most disliked one. Samui has changes into a center of overcharging every oncoming tripper.

The only beach vendor girl selling mussels
A girl selling "Hoy Lay" (baby clams) to my wife for a dinner dish. We could cook our own dish in the kitchen from the Aloha Resort.

Hin Da and Hin Yai Cap and its view point
At the top of the lonely small palm often sitting a naughty boy watching young couples between the rocks. As often I visit Koh Samui, every time I recognized some body in this palm.
Once the answer was a hail of stones thrown to this baby palm from disturbed tourists.

Inside the island
We came to the same place 25 years later. By luck this idyllic place hasn't changed and this horizontal grown up palm still exist.

This idyllic place changed to an noisy air field, the business with mass tourism got started.
The owners of Bangkok Airways Company keep the monopoly and exclusive right to all of this territory.
