This was published by Waters Bros., Guelph, Ont. and was posted June 17, 1908 at Tyrrell, Ontario to Miss Margaret Langford, Hollyrood, Ontario: "Tyrrell 14/6/08 I note by the paper you have an excursion to Guelph Tuesday June 23rd. I expect to be there that day, everything permitting would you be at liberty to go I would be pleased to see you. I will meet you at the place marked at 2:30 p.m. + if I am not there at that date please do not wait for me. As conditions allow an instance hoping to see you, Arthur E. R."

You can see an "X" on the steps of Massey Hall, which is part of Ontario Agricultural College, now the University of Guelph.
