Rain on my Parade
St. Augustine, Florida - is a city in Northeast Florida and the oldest continuously occupied European-established settlement and port in the continental United States. San Agustín was founded in September of 1565 by Spanish admiral and Florida's first governor, Pedro Menéndez de Avilés. It served as the capital of Spanish Florida for over 200 years. St. Augustine remained the capital of East Florida when the territory briefly changed hands between the Spain and Britain, and it remained the capital of the Florida Territory until it was moved to Tallahassee in 1824. Since the late 19th century, its distinct historical character has made the city a major tourist attraction. Old Town area offers a huge array of photo opportunities.
Windy, cold, and rainy equals what a photographer doesn't want but "sucks it up" and does what is necessary. All in all, I got some really good shots rain or not! Then we treated ourselves with "adult beverages" at the Tiny Martini Bar and some great Florida seafood!! {:o)
Thank you all for visiting and for your gracious and appreciated comments! I wish I could thank each of you personally.
Have a great creative day!

Gerade diese Konfrontation Mensch-Natur, und die unbeholfene Nutzung von Regenschirmen zeigt, wie klein und mitunter lächerlich der Mensch doch ist.
An outstanding photo viewed in Street Live!
