Haus zum Sonneborn
Das Haus zum Sonneborn, Anno 1546, mit einem wunderschön restaurierten Renaissance-Portal. Das Erfurter Gebäude dient heute als Hochzeitshaus und Standesamt, wie man an den Ringen vor dem Fenster erkennt. Die beiden Löcher (Notiz) in der Mauer oberhalb des Portals deuten darauf hin, das hier Bier gebraut wurde. Eine Getreideähre im Loch zeigte an, dass es an dem Tag Bier gab.

Oooh, this is just gorgeous..................the huge door and it's surrounds are beautifully ornate and I love the colour of the building, especially the columns either side of the door. Everything about it just screams "quality".

The bicycles with their (almost matching colours) make a great addition and the lanterns are perfect for your project.

I've viewed the holes in close up...............no beer for you that day!

Danke Keith, sehr erfreut! Zum Glück gab es in anderen Häusern genug Bier.
Übrigens, Bier war früher ein Grundnahrungsmittel. Bier war sauberer als das Trinkwasser. Deshalb tranken auch Kinder Bier.
