Kleines Schloss

Kleines Schloss
Das Kleine Schloss liegt idyllisch am Havel-Ufer im Park Babelsberg. Es wurde in den 1840er Jahren im Stil der Tudor-Gotik gestaltet. Hier lebte Friedrich III., der später 99 Tage lang deutscher Kaiser war. Heute wird das Gebäude gastronomisch genutzt.

Als Kronprinz Friedrich Wilhelm heiratete er 1858 die englische Prinzessin Victoria, die älteste Tochter von Queen Victoria. Einige Zeit danach war dieses Schloss weiterhin sein Wohnsitz. Danach beherbergte es Hofdamen und Gäste. Daher wohl die Bezeichnunug "Damenhaus".
