Kensal Rise Station

Kensal Rise Station
(1961)
(2014)

Kensal Rise station was opened by the North London Railway (NLR) in 1873 and was originally called Kensal Green. The station replaced Kensal Green and Harlesden station which was located at Wrottesley Road which is approximately halfway between the present station and Willesden Junction station. The present station was renamed Kensal Rise in 1890.
Operation of the station, along with the whole line, was transferred to Transport for London (TfL) in 2007 and is now part of the London Overground network.
