This photo was taken on the day after an intense lightening storm, when we were still hoping that the lightning hadn't ignited any major wild fires.
We were quite wrong, of course.

A lovely image of the little girl and the beautiful dog. Those fires are awful, I feel for all of you affected by them - in the circumstances, HFF hardly seems appropriate.

Sorry for the very late HFF, Sarah. You are in our hearts. Even at a distance, it is heart breaking to see so much of the beautiful West Coast go up in smoke, not to mention the lives lost, human and animal. I can only hope that so much destruction and loss will at least serve to open the mind and hearts of those that still think that climate change is a hoax.
