Your mind is hobgoblin-free! I think perfect symmetry here might have detracted from the composition. At the moment my eyes keep sweeping back and forth between the walls, because of the differences between them. Symmetry might have got me to focus on the centre and ignore the outside. Whatever -- it's way cool this way.

Thanks, John! Love your response, even if "hobgoblin-free" is hardly how I would describe the current state of my internal affairs (given that I've embarked on a writing project that appears to involve a ghost, among other odd phenomenon.)

If you stop saying "sorry" after using such delightfully evocative terms as "hobgoblin-free", I will stop saying "sorry" for letting my imperfect mind muse on its hobgoblins.
